Bus Air Conditioner Factory has established an integrated smart factory network encompassing R&D, manufacturing, testing, and global service, with an annual production capacity of 150,000 units, supporting Yutong’s global market demand for Bus Air Conditioner systems. Its factory design integrates digital lean manufacturing with extreme environment verification capabilities, ensuring product coverage across a full temperature range of -40℃ to 60℃.
The Bus Air Conditioner Factory employs a U-shaped modular production line layoutachieving flexible production through six major process units:
Precision Component Machining Unit:
Equipped with a five-axis machining center (positioning accuracy ±0.005mm), it processes core components such as compressor housings, controlling surface roughness to within Ra1.6μm;
Intelligent Welding Unit:
Utilizes laser welding robots (welding speed 3m/min) to complete condenser pipe welding, achieving a first-pass yield of 99.2%, a 15% improvement over traditional argon arc welding;

Environmental Simulation Testing Center:
Equipped with three high and low temperature environment chambers (volumes 20m³/50m³/100m³ respectively), it can simulate a low-pressure environment at an altitude of 5000m to verify the performance degradation rate of air conditioners in high-altitude areas (requirement ≤10%@4500m).
The Bus Air Conditioner Factory has established a new energy air conditioning laboratory, focusing on optimizing energy consumption in electric buses:
Heat Pump Technology Development:
Successfully reduced the proportion of air conditioning energy consumption from 35% to 25% of the total range of electric buses.
Through dual-source recovery of “motor waste heat + battery waste heat,” winter heating efficiency has been improved by 40%.
Green Production Process:
The factory uses R-454B low-GWP refrigerant (GWP=466) instead of the traditional R-410A, coupled with a closed-loop recovery system (recovery rate >95%), reducing carbon emissions by approximately 1200 tons annually.
This “manufacturing as innovation” model has enabled Busclima air conditioners to maintain the number one market share in the domestic bus air conditioning market for eight consecutive years (38.7%), and exports to 48 countries. From the digital production line in the Zhengzhou factory to the extremely cold-adapted production line in Kazakhstan, Yutong Air Conditioning’s factory system proves that true manufacturing strength lies not only in scale, but also in the technological control over extreme environments and the rapid response to the global market.
